The Fujikura 68S+ splicer with Core-to-Core Alignment technique is designed to connect various types of single fiber cables (MM G.651, SM G.652, DS G.653, NZDS G.655, CS. G657 etc.)
Equipped with auto heating features, environmental resistance features make the Fujikura 68S+ suitable for various field conditions. The lifetime of the electrodes is up to 5000 splices which can be monitored with the ACTIVE BLADE MANAGEMNET TECHNOLOGY system ,
Data connection software to retrieve data and upgrade firmware via the internet
Equipped with Arc Fusion Control technology to improve the quality of the connection results and reduce the risk of reconnection, Automatic arc calibration, Automatic wind protector and several other features to speed up the connection.

- Cleave length range depending on fiber type
5 to 16mm : 125μm cladding dia. / 250μm coating dia.
10 to 16mm : 125μm cladding dia. / 400 or 900μm coating dia.
5 to 10mm : 80μm cladding dia. / 160μm coating dia. - Measured with a cut-back method relevant to ITU-T and IEC standard after splicing Fujikura identical fibers. The average splice loss changes depending on the environmental condition and fiber characteristics.
- Measured at room temperature. The definition of splice time is from the fiber image appeared in LCD monitor to the estimated loss displayed.

The battery capacity changes when testing with different conditions from the above. - The battery capacity decreases to a half after approx. 500 discharge and recharge cycles, The battery life is shortened further when using outside of the storage temperature range, operating temperature range, if completely discharged by storing for a long time without recharging.
